He he Todd ...Classic !

Although having just dug it out, my old vinyl copy has a 'real' JS harp solo that makes this one here sound like a synth! ?? I think his harp sound/style is unique to him and often added much needed soul to some pretty cheesey songs.

(Also want to say I really like your band :)

Gracias, Rick! I used to enjoy watching the show in the 70's when i was a kid and laughing at Horshack. I was thumbing thru radio stations and came upon a local oldies channel that had a version of this with a more lengthy JS solo on it. Maybe the same you have?

The solo on the album is no longer but has soul...
Some of the other tracks have more harp. Worth picking up for old times sake for sure though . Horshack !

John Sebastian playing this song on the John Davidson show was my first "what is that thing?" with the harmonica. I was probably 10 years old. He sang the tune, played some harp, then threw it over his shoulder. Then he sang some more, played some more and threw THAT harp over his shoulder. 6 years later, it ultimately ruined my life. I have since met John, he was very nice.

@ Michael Rubin
"Six years later, it ultimately ruined my life"???!!!

I don't think that a life long involvement/obsession with harmonica can "ruin your life"!

Though my wife might disagree...

Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

On Topic: I always enjoyed JS's singing and harp playing.

@ arzajac
Thanks for the videos of John Sebastian with Annie Raines and Paul Rishell!
