Oh, man--that was great. My mother played a steel when I was growing up--she started teaching me when I was about ten--we never could afford the pedals, but I've always loved that sound.

I sometimes wonder why the blues hasn't had more steel players--seems like a natural--there's a lot of great blues in there, but it just gets used mainly as a country music string section. . .
