I got an email from Lewis today. It was pretty nice seeing I haven't seen or heard of him since we left austin in 1996. He is an austin legend that rarely gets mentioned with the names one hears with the classic austin blues guys. I did a youtube search and really couldn't find much (pre youtube days). I found this one that gives a glimpse into his playing and singing. He is now living in Kansas and not playing much. that is a bummer. There are a lot of us guys from that era on ice nowadays. he was a real shaker in the day. Walter

yes he is! It is a bummer he isn't gigging. He was right there with Kim Wilson, SRV, Jimmy Vaughn, Lou ann barton, Derek O'Brien, angelia streghli, Paul Ray, denny freeman, etc. We got to know each other from my black cat lounge days. He would come by and hang out. We have been emailing back and forth the past few days.
