I just got a hohner 270 chrom (it is very cool!), and started listening to more chrom blues. What are some good songs out there that I should hear?

To date I liked
Teenage Beat - Little Walter
Blues in the Dark - George Smith
Carey Bell with Big Walter

Thanks!

check out william clarke's version of "the work song"
james cotton's "23 hours too long".

chrom is seemingly made for 3rd position blues and can be utilized that way on a lot of songs.

George Harmonica Smith played blues chromatic in 1st position as well, but it requires you to use the slide more and you need to know where you are on it and three tunes that come to mind that he did this on are Chicago City, Boogie 'N' With George, and Monkey On A Limb.

The Briar Patch by Gary Primich is a fun one.

Gary Primich's "Texas Love Kit" is one of my favorite chromatic songs... I think he's playin a Bb chro in 3rd position.

I also love Norton Buffalo's chromatic playing... "Puerto de Azul" is a favorite.
