um okay so this might be a stupid question but im really confused. i cant overblow or anything yet, i havnt even started trying to learn yet but i have read a little about them for future refrence...
so like on a C harmonica how would you get the F# in the second octave? if an overblow is a minor third above the regular blow note, then the 4 hole overblow would be Eb and the five hole would be G right?? so where do get the F#? and furthermore, what is the point of using the 5 hole overblow, if its the same note as the six blow normal?

The OB is a semitone above the draw note, so the 5OB gives you F#. Actually it gives you a flat F#, so you'll have to learn to bend it up too. ---------- Andrew, gentleman of leisure, noodler extraordinaire.
