Or to be more precise, I now howl from Athens. I moved here from the UK about three months ago, narrowly escaping the ice age. I'd like to invite you all to listen to some of my music:
http://www.reverbnation.com/jimcorazon
It's a very new page, and all things i've just recently written and recorded here. More to follow soon.
Recently I started playing solo amplified blues harp on the streets under the Acropolis, which seems to be quite a spectacle for those accustomed to mostly seeing and hearing bouzouki and violin.
Having moved here within the airline's 20kg limit, my hand luggage was of course full to the brim with the important things-harmonicas,mics,digital8track,laptop etc. Not easy trying to explain what the hell a bullet mic is to security upon checking my case..thankfully i wasn't made to take them apart!
I've also begun a review page for harp related products, the first of which is the mini amp i now use for recording and street playing. Upon arrival i purchased the Fender Mini '57 Twin as i was on a tiny budget and sadly had to leave behind my little valve amp, my piano, my '72 Rover v8...the list goes on! It has been rather surprising in tone, hence my motivation to review it

I am expecting a delivery from Brasil any day now, one Bends Prima to be exact which shall most certainly be my next review!
Pleasure to meet you all Jim

How cool must it feel to play so close to one of the Great Wonders of the World!! Checked out your site - I really like your music - is that you doing the backing track too?
Just thought I would mention that Santos Music Factors (santosmusic.eu) have recently arrived on the scene. I have ordered from them and they were SUPERB in all departments. Communication is first rate and their customer service is 2nd to none!
My order was not delivered (by my local Post Office) so they offered to send me the harp again, free of charge and to then resolve the matter with the Post Office direct - how's that for service!!!
As it turns out, the harp was sitting on a shelf in the Sorting Office as the local Postman hadn't bothered even trying to deliver it!! But credit to Santos Music as they were prepared to go that extra yard for their customer.
They ship all over Europe so maybe check 'em out!

Thanks, Yeah i ordered through Santos, free shipping in europe. Post service is pretty crappy here, they never seem to bring packets out with them. Just quietly place a "you were out, come get it from the office' slip before anybody notices! That's indeed me playing and singing everything on my page. How do you like your Bends harp? Which one did you go for? I blew a reed on my big river playing on the street last week, so thought it a good opportunity to try something new. No better place to start than their entry level one, a bit like going for the margherita pizza at an unknown italian restaurant! If that's good, then... Jim

Jim, yiasou, kalos elthis. I'm sure the younger crowd loves the blues. Greek music shares many similarities with traditional blues. Mike

Invested in the Anima. Plays really well for an OOTB harp so may well try a Juke in the not too distant future, funds permitting! It will benefit from a little gapping/embossing though....just to liven it up a little!!
And I know its superficial, but, I love the red comb. Reminds me of the Suzuki Bluesmaster when all non C harps had red combs.
