Has anyone got any Sonny boy Williamson II photos they could post on here?

preferably portrait shots of his face if anyone has any.
The reason i'm asking is because my tattooist is going to tattoo a portrait of Sonny boy on me at Manchester Tattoo convention on March 3rd and hopefully enter it into the best of day catagory.

I've got a few pictures already which are pretty good but im hoping someone on here might have a jem of a picture which would work well as a portrait tattoo. Ideally a large photo of his face maybe with his harp,or a photo of him with his famous crooked smile.

Cheers in advance,

(i'll be sure to post the tattoo on here when its done)

This might be a good place for ideas. You could even buy a stock photo if you found one you really like.
Some Sonny Pics

You might do well searching other stock image sites as well.

And here's the gem you were looking for :-)

@Walter: there is some great drawing on that link, thanks man.

@ReedSqueal: I might just go with one of those photo's, theres also some other great ones on the gettyimages site that i've not seen before.

Thanks again, hopefully it should be worth the 5-6 hrs of pain i'll be put through, but hey we all need to suffer for our art now and again:o)

Thanks jaybird, google was the first place I looked. Great photos but alot of them were too small when I clicked into them. The larger I have to blow the picture up the more definition you loose, which is bad for portrait work. Cheers anyway:o)

Hey Joe,

thanks for the offer.

I've got a great Tattooist, he's won lots of awards here in the U.K. i've collected about 10 good images of Sonny Boy now, so it's just a matter of going through them and seeing what will work best on the skin and which will make a good tattoo, not everything on paper will look good on the skin and i've learnt that the hard way lol!!!

I think the hardest part now finding where i can put it!! i havn't got alot of clean skin left anymore:o)

Thanks again for the offer:o)

Ant - How much are tickets for the Tattoo convention? I live not far from Manchester and might be interested in going for a look around it, if I can afford it.
