This is a monster!
I have a son in Townsville, and he has bunkered down at the local Pub.
Just got off the phone to him. All is OK at the moment.

Yup, we've had so much warning, the waiting is hard, especially the calm before the storm, not knowing what its going do. Still, good to have had enough time to prepare as best as possible.

Got my harps, amps and collection of mics in what I hope to be a safe place.

Been listening to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee :'Backwater rising'
I bet there's plenty other blues songs about big storms too.

Anyone got any?

Guess its not really 'off topic' after all; as Howlin' Wolf said: 'We talkin 'bout the life of human beings; how they live'

Good luck everyone.

Good luck guys. Have visited QLD and FNQ (Far North Queensland) many times. It's a lovely part of the world. Stay safe!
