Hi to all UK harpers,

I have teamed up with a few guys and we are running a day of workshops on Saturday 5th February at a great pub called the Brunswick . The evening is filled with top class bands all of which feature harmonicas.

The workshops will be aimed at beginners and intermediate players. I'm going to run a couple of intermediate sessions looking at accurate bending, playing in different position, tongue blocking and anything else people want to work on.

We have a couple of harp stands selling stuff and a few workshops covering areas such as breathing and stage presence.

Its going to be a great day with people blowing the hell out of their harps for about twelve hours. Gotta be good.

If you are interested please send me an email;

Thanks for posting this James, sounds great. Don't know if I can make it yet but would like to be able to. Perhaps you would be kind enough to mail me the programme for the day and costs etc.,

Take care

Hi James,
Can you give me the info for the day timings etc and the post code of the pub.
I am hoping to get over for the day and will bring my Vid camera to document the day if you would like me to.

Sort of like the NHL Vids I do.

Hope to see you there and you can give the info on 12th position you promised from last years spring Festival?

I never forget

Cheers

Russ

Hi Russ,

Good to hear from you. Cheers for your offer of videoing the event. I'm sure that would be greatly appreciated.

We have NHL support so it will help make it one of the normal yearly festivals.

Yer the twelfth position stuff slipped my mind. Actually it completely dropped our of my mind and I have no idea of what I said I would do for you. Sincere apologies - and thanks for mentioning it.

Kerion - nice one. Great if you can make it but I appreciate your a busy man.

We have great news that Ben Hewitt is travelling over from Bristol and is going to run a Sonny Terry inspired session.

I will email you both on Monday morning with details
Regards James

I will get emails sent out to both of you on Monday morning.

@Shoulders:

Looks lovely! May well pop down from London. Can help out / teach / play / jump up and down and make noises if that's any use?

Lovely offer Will, thanks so much.

It would be great to have you bouncing around the whole event. The more people making your type of noises the better.

Its the same pub that Joe played at last year. I'll be down there from around 10am.

My mobile is 07814485092 if you need to contact me.

Regards

James
