Can anyone point me to a online supplier in Canada? I blew out a note on my Promaster and stole the plates out of my Manji for it. I like the fit and the sound but would like to put my Manji back together. I'd like to keep my Promaster a ProManji though. I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff on the net but I'm only finding Promaster, Bluesmaster and firebreath plates. And the usual place I mail order from has not returned my email from Boxing day on availability.

If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

As far as I know Manji reedplates are not avalable anywhere yet, although Suzuki is said to release them soon.
Your only option would be to buy a full Manji. Tedious.
Or wait.

Well that's dissapointing. I hope they hurry up, but I suppose they need to exhaust their current inventory since the manji plates fit a lot of harps and I'm sure plenty of people are waiting to upgrade.

Nothing wrong with buying another Manji--
And we are waiting patiently at Suzuki USA for Japan to send us plates so we can send them to dealers to sell--what can I tell you, they are popular . . .
The word is this quarter, so that means by Spring, but spring will come regardless.
I am not sure who the distributor in Canada is . . .

Try ordering directly from Japan. I have seen them in their online catalogue, though I have only bought complete harps from there myself (at a fraction of the cost of buying them in stores here in Australia).

Drop MR Hiroshi Iwata of Taniguchi musical instruments Ltd. a line, I have found him a pleasure to deal with at: "Taniguchi Gakki"
(for some reason this address didn't appear first time I posted the message)
