I was listening to RL Burnside on a track called 'see my jumper hangin' on the line' in which he laments 'white lightning gone dun' my head'
What is this in the US? drug or alcohol? In the late '60's it was the name for a type of LSD I think here in the uk it is a super strength cider.

Hoooooooo doggie! This makes me want to be back in the hill country for HCH2! I could swear I felt RL Burnside's ghost burning a hole in my stomach.

No, nc, I think that would be unwelcome competition, but y'all could share trade secrets!Theirs leaves little room for improvement. I have sampled it since I wasn't able to make it last year from someone who did make the trip, and it is good stuff. Smooooooooooth. ----------

you better make sure you KNOW who is cooking that brew. Old timers would use copper car radiators and the resulting stuff would make you blind. Throw in a screwup of wood alcohol and then you can add death to the tune. Long long ago, in the late forties, there was a big time shine runner named Fats Hardy who killed a lot of people with his stuff, here in Atlanta. Saw a bumper sticker today......."Liquor, man I don't even know her" 'nuff said
