Just curious about these amps, esp. the 2A series. Anyone own one, if so, how do you like it.
Thanks, appreciate any input available.

I have the 2A and pretty happy with it. I do have to mic it sometimes, if I had to do it over again I'd pay just a little more and get the 4A.

I have a Fat Dog 1A (the 2A is basically two 1As in stereo) and I love it! I think it's one of the best "harp-specific" amps out there (if not THE best). Of course, I haven't tried all the others (although I have heard Harp Kings on a few occasions), but just judging from videos on YouTube and the harp amps' websites. After all, I bought my Fat Dog because of that Joe Filisko video. And Robbie, the guy that builds them, is a really nice guy. I bought my Fat Dog on Ebay from a guy that had put the head into a 2X8 cabinet; I emailed Robbie to ask him the best way to wire two 8 ohm speakers for an 8 ohm output transformer (4ohms or 16?). He gave me a very well thought out answer; then a few days later, he offered me a nearly new cabinet from a 1A that had just been returned, in which he installed a brand new speaker, all for $100! Which I bought, so now I have the amp wired as it was meant to be, and for a little less than a new one including shipping. He wants everyone to be happy with his amps; a sound business practice, because I'll be recommending his amps to anyone who will listen.
