Ian Collard plays some kind of great blues harp on JUKE JOINT BOOGIE and Collard Greens & Gravy has always been at the top of my list as great blues bands. I've got a bit of review over at www.bushdogblues.blogspot.com

I agree.
Ian is a very talented player.
I've been lucky enough to see a number of gigs in Sydney over the years.

CG&G have made it to Canberra a couple of times and I've got Ian to run a harp workshop at my place. CG&G are playing at the Australian Blues Festival at Goulburn in mid Feb but I'm not sure if Ian's running a workshop there (he's done beginners worskshops a couple of times at Goulburn in the past).

Ian also does some great harp work with The Backsliders - he shares the harp gig with Brod Smith.

One of Australia's best blues harpers

Cheers

Got to know Ian Collard a bit when he came to Texas and agreed to put on a harp clinic for our HOOT (Harmonica Organization of Texas)chapter. He left most of us slack jawed with his proficiency on the ten holer.
