HA! NICE!!!!!!...very cool....loved the WTF attitude as well!!

...and slightly off topic I highly recommend the movie of the same name (the bobby darin story) with Kevin Spacey in the BD role.

...lastly, for those of you theoretically challenged (musically that is) I highly recommend Michael's "meat and potatoes" lessons on you tube

(I'm through lesson 12 it has helped me immensely...then again, I'm a guy who thinks the circle of fifths is some kind of level of hell in Dante's Inferno)

Respect! That was cool! I've never heard of a harmonetta. It's got a pretty cool and unique sound. It looks like it would be a pain to learn. I started to look it up and the first video I found the guy said "this is an impossible instrument" haha.

Here's one of a guy looping it.

At this year's SPAH I saw a guy playing one with two chromatic players. It was the last table to the right as you walked towards the dealers room. Any idea who that was? He was unbelievably good,he played all the bass lines on the jazz standards they were playing.

"La Mer" de Charles Trenet !

I didn't know the english title was "Beyond the sea". Good one, it seems difficult to play indeed !

Very nice Michael, sounds good. I remember seeing you playing this thing around SPAH last year too. Just looking at the layout of that thing makes me want to give my diatonics a big hug, lol :) .

I am so pleased that god-awful harmonetta was not embraced by the early blues community.

No disrespect to you Michael, I think you did a grand job, but I think the device just sounds horrible.

There's a very good reason why it didn't catch on.
