Yeah, played harmonica charades. Played with some people and they actually thought I was good. Glad they didn't know what a real good harmonica player sounds like. It went to my head. ---------- My YouTube Channel

I think NC is being facetious, but as I've learned on this forum, irony doesn't always get received as such.

Adam, maybe so-I think he was being drunk! Better to cruise the forum drunk than getting in the car and cruising anywhere drunk, I guess... ----------

I meant every word KZR. And it's all true. (except the part about the whiskey....crown royal is better.) Sorry if I disrupted class teach.

"except the part about the whiskey....crown royal is better"
I am so tempted to steer this into a debate on the relative and comparative merits of individual whiskeys. However, I am afraid that (in my case, if no one elses....but likely Hobostubs and a few others as well) it would be interpreted as taking on a near religious tone.
I'll demurely opt for restraint.
Cheers.

Haven't developed the taste for whisky yet (though I keep trying).
However, in the words of the Wurzels, I am a cider drinker.
You know the UK government is currently telling us all to 'drink responsibly'. I went into the local off licence to ask for some and they'd never heard of it :)
Edit: P.S. @ncpacemaker: Love how you were drunk enough to post that first message, but not too drunk to forget to flag it as off topic :) It's so wierd the way alcohol affects us!

I bought my wife a bottle of 27 year old Glenturret (the oldest (1760) and one of the smallest distillery's in Scotland) and that really is unbelievable.
It's cask strength, that's around 60% proof, and when you take the cork out the whole room is pervaded by the aroma of malt, caramel, honey and alcohol. This aroma lasts a long time.
A real special occasion whiskey, but for everyday I prefer Macallan 10 year old, which is matured in American Oak Bourbon casks.

@ LittleBubba
In Scotland the times are always hard, you go into a bar in Glasgow at 11am and the guys at the bar will be drinking half and a half, thats a small beer, lager, and a large whiskey but it aint single malt!
But then you would be very ill advised to go into a bar in Glasgow such as that, at any time, with an English accent such as mine!
No apology to any scots reading this, I wont be seein' you pal
