I got the Advanced Beginners course a week back and have been waiting to get some time to start it.
Well, I started last night with Bittersweet Blues, and after a couple of hours I can play through without looking at the tab. Still needs a lot of work with tonguing and to get good clear notes on every run through but I'm pleased with my progress.
I took notice of what one of you guys advised me on one of my earlier posts, and ditched to tab as soon as possible and relied on muscle memory and ear, and guess what, it works ok.
My question now is, do I try to perfect Bittersweet Blues before I move onto another lesson, or is it ok to work on more than one piece at a time?
Would or could I pick up something from another lesson that will help my progress overall?
Hope it's not a dumb question....

My advice is to keep working on this lesson to the point where you would be confident playing it for someone else. But, pick up another lesson before Bittersweet Boogie becomes tedious.

Mojo 1.0 is a real good one in the advanced beginner series. Down Home is another good one, I think it's advanced beginner also.
