Greeting from cold, rainy central NC. I was just wondering how large of a collection some of you have. I'm sure some are huge. I have a modest total of about 450 songs in the blues genre but I'm trying to expand that whenever possible. I have found some good deals in Rose's Stores. Got some great CD's including James Cotton, Muddy, Albert King and more for $5 each. Anyway, here's a chance to toot your horn about your giant record collection ! How bout you KZR ?
---------- Maybe I can't play that good but I'm a lot better than people who can't play at all.
Sincerely, ncpacemaker

357 artists, 3900 songs or thereabouts (with a bunch of dupes) in itunes,.
10 artists with 'Blind' in their name.
I wont get to listen to them all this lifetime- but they are at the ready. ----------

13205 songs on my iPod. All but 35 are Blues. I have a couple hundred records and about a hundred cassette tapes filled with stuff that I haven't listened to in years. It's all blues, too.

I just measured my cd shelf at over 12ft of blues. My old vinyl is stored in a way that I can't figure the linear running distance on those. But, I'll bet it's significant. Additionally, I've got boxes of old cassettes and yes, 8 tracks that I hope to one day convert to digital storage. I haven't done it yet, because I'd like to figure out how to do it myself without paying some geek per unit.

@Buzadero.....easy fix...if your 8 track player has "audio out" jacks. Get a motorola audio (Red /White) to mini plug - cable. Plug the motorola end to your audio out , and the mini jack to the microphone input of your computer. Record with "Audacity" free. Better if you have a sound card....just use audio in to audio out. Or you can buy a DAZZLE! THAT WHAT i USE AND IT WORKS GREAT. oops.....
I have converted most of my cassettes and alot of my vinyl. Paul ----------

Nice. Thanks. You're the second person that told me "Dazzle". I gotta look into that.
