I have a Vox DA9 amp Nick, which takes 6 x Type C Alkaline Batteries and it works off mains as well. It has a Guitar/harp input with delay, reverb and loads of other effects. It also has a separate mic input on the back for clean vocals with it's own volume control and Aux for plugging in another music source CD player, ipod etc., It also has a variable power select switch 0.5, 1.5, 5w, depending upon whether you want a quieter setting at home or louder on the street.
