So it would be played on a Ab in second position, correct ? I don't have an Ab. Thanks

Sounds like D-flat, but it's a litle off pitch, so even if you use an F# harmonica to play along with this (in 2nd position), it still won't quite match up - pretty close though.

I can play along best with G in 2nd or D in 1st.

So, I'd say its in D, but has been speeded up/slowed down, or recorded on a dodgy speed wise tape.

I agree with Todd, Db sounds the closest. Like they said it's not 100% perfectly in tune, but it's close enough that you should be able to play along just fine on an F# harp (or a Db harp in first pos.). Unless of course you have perfect pitch or just really well tuned ears, then it might bother you a bit, but I played along with it on my low F# and it was good enough for me : )
