I will be playing at Red's Juke Joint in Clarksdale MS ..Thursday night May 19 ..I will be doing a Solo Show .. If anyone is in town early ....Please stop in ...So far it is a Solo one man show .. I have talked with Adam about it .... And he might come down too ...Then we will adjust the show for that It would be cool 2 one man stomping show's
I might want it to be a jam at the end with full band if anyone wants to bring other instruments to back up other harp players .....Make plans to come into the Delta Early .....Deak Harp will be in town early ......

I'll be opening for Deak that night. Two one-man harp bands. Should be fun.

Too bad: I just booked my flight for the 20th.
What's happening Sunday evening (May 22nd)? How late do things go? Should I stay in the Holly Springs / Oxford area, or can I get to Clarksdale at a reasonable hour?

I think I'll come down early for HCHII, so hope to catch your show!!
@Timeistight-last year the Sunday night show went at least until midnight

I would stay in holly springs there is more than adequate accomodations there not to mention the state park with cabins near the hollowell site

Things go until at least midnight on Sunday. You should definitely plan on staying closer (Holly Springs / Oxford) rather than further.

I heard that the LeBrake Inn was very good in Holly Springs. I stayed at a Cabin in Wall Doxey State park which is very close to the venue. The cabins are very nice and only 75.00 a night.
