happy 2011 everyone, i have decided that amongst many many other things i aim to improve on in 2011, my main mission is to learn the tongue block method. can anyone recommend any books or dvds that will be of help. i was also looking at dave barrets book building harmonica technique, which seems to cover everything for the level i am at with my playing. i am in england and notice you dont get the dvd with the books in uk only the cd. can anyone again tell me if the book is worth buying cheers.

Here's the book I learnt from.
Highly recommend it.

Barrett wrote it. Comes with a cd

Why don't you leave some holes when you play, and maybe some music will fall out.

Hey LL,
I have Barrett's book/cd, and the dvd. All my Mel Bay/Barrett books came with the cd, the dvd is purchased seperately.

I've had good results from all of his material, the only dvd that I have is Building Harmonica Technique Volumes 1&2.

The dvd's are great, but I would also recommend the book/cd option, they have been very helpful to me.

Good luck!
