Newbie here. I picked up a harmonica Christmas eve. I've never learned an instrument before.
I'm going to play the blues!
I bought Adam's lesson on "Floyd's Hotel" and downloaded Quicktime alternative but I can't get it to open. Help???

believe you are putting the cart before the horse-try getting adams you tube lessons dvd lessons 1-33 it is more about fundamentals

Thanks for the info. That file is part of his beginner package so I assumed it wasn't too advanced. We'll see, if I can't keep up with it right away I can still use it when I get that far.
I got it to work I had to install the real Quicktime.

When you say "...but I can't get it to open.."
Do you mean the .zip file (archive) or do you mean once you have extracted the file from the archive that it won't open using the Quicktime alternative?
I'd say if the latter, you might try the real Quicktime? (It's free)

I got it ReedSqueal, had to download Quicktime. I didn't get the zip just the .mov, QT/alt wouldn't do it.
