Andy J is my favorite of our local players-he's a great guy and also has a wicked sense of humour. Locally, he splits his playing time with the Washboard Chaz Trio and his own blues band. He travels to Italy a lot and has a following there. He's a great songwriter and a decent guitarist to go along with his harp skills.

Andy is a great guy. He came to a Crescent City Harmonica Club meeting and tried to teach us his chucka chucka sound. He always lets other club members sit in. He does a great one man band thing with a washboard. I posted a video not too long ago with him playing a step stool because he forgot his washboard. I will see if I can find it again. I am off to play now, though ----------
agreed, Bigd! I recently listened to his album "Letter From Hell" and it's great. Excellent harp workd ("Tongue in Groove" Dayum!) and pretty good vocals... I started a thread a while back for "best vocalist" of the harp players... and I think Andy should be up there. He's a treat. You guys are lucky he's a local, I thought he was European from that vid haha.
