First test, one take on a few new toys. Not overly happy but will get better. Interested to hear others comments:-

I like the way you were not afraid to vary the piece by changing tempo and positions. You seemed to be more comfortable in the higher register and it flowed nicely there.

On the lower register you didn't seem quite so sure footed but nonetheless you gave it a bluesey character. Overall a worthy effort. It is a very good song for practicing on and for being creative with the improvisation.

Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year from the UK where we've just tiptoed into to the New Year, I know you're quite a few hours in already.

Thanks GreyOwl your comments are appreciated. I always consider that anything I post is always a work in progress. Very helpful and noted.

And Happy New Year to all. Its already nearly over for day 1 of 2011 and in what should be Australia's Sunshine State it hasn't stopped raining. Not a good sign as we have very serious floods, not us, but much of Queensland is under water.
