right guys, the wife has come into some money. she has said she would buy me an amp, (after me dropping many hints that i couldnt afford one). so what would you guys suggest i ask her for, i am looking at around £300 as i have mentioned the fender pro jr. she was ok with that. in my band we play pubs and small venues from 150 to 500. so i was wondering if you would recommend any amps other than the fender pro jr. i was looking at the vht special 6 combo. this has had good reviews cost are good and can be used in small venues no problem if mic up.

I like the Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue better than the Blues Jr. I sold my BJ to get a PRRI when they came out--no regrets.
