Did someone knows wich harmonica john is using :P.. it looks like a special 20 :P..?

He only uses Special 20's. In fact, he is the picture on their blister packs now.

it only goes to show you dont have to spend a fortune on harps to make good music of course everybody cannot play like jp

I am not 100% sure what he does, but I have seen a harp tech referenced. In recent live recordings, he has used the 6 overblow, but most stock SP20's can do that. In the 90's, he mentioned getting boxes full of harps and picking and choosing his favorite.

Having witnessed, and received, first hand, harps are all disposable to him and he hands out a lot from stage. He plays hard and I am sure he uses new harps nearly every show...which is still 100+ shows a year.

His situation is pretty unique, but for as hardcore about his rig, which runs over $10,000 new, he doesn't seem too interested in harp techie stuff.
