I have already picked up odds and ends from around the house for tinkering with harps; Watchmakers screwdrivers, bent paperclips for minor fine adjustments of reeds through the holes, when I'm too lazy to take the cover plates off. embossing socket, fine scalpel for plinking and de-embossing I also use the fine point to ease the sides of the reed down near the rivet which seems to reduce or eliminate reed squeal on overblows, feeler gauges, tooth picks, club hammer ....(nah just kidding, although I have been tempted to use one on uncooperative harps)

I am looking for a file of some sort to attempt tuning. I would like it to be something in keeping with my ramshackle collection.

Any ideas?

I prefer to use 600-1000 abrasive paper instead of files.
