@Greyowl was this theme to the tv movie about an infantry unit of the 101st in ww2? happy new year to you and thanks for your playing and tabs on the forum they are most welcome
@Groyster. Thank you and yes that's the series. Probably the most powerful and moving depiction of the horror and camaraderie in conflict that I have seen. A particularly nice touch was the short interview they had with the surviving veterans at the end of each episode. Such self effacing men.
I played this on chromatic as you can see (as it had the right feel somehow) but this simple theme lays out very well on diatonic too.
Here are the tabs for both.
Band of Brothers Theme Tab by Grey Owl On a chromatic harmonica in C
@Greyowl my father was a gunner in a B24 during ww2 and I have a strong interest in ww2 history-when churchill died I was 14 years old and my dad educated me in how much we owe to him for our freedom-in coming to the uk I learned more about the battle of britain and the blitz and how much we also owe to the pilots of the spitfires and hurricanes without them there would have been no cross channel invasion of france
@ Greyowl As usual beautifully played. Love your timing on these slow pieces. Also love the simplicity ie no use of backing track. And big thank you for the tabs. Very inspirational I will need to dust off my chrom.
