I'm almost afraid to say it out loud - but I'm sensing a good posistive buzz around here the last few days. Perhaps with the holiday season and after some catharsis over recent losses we haved moved on -and made a turn in a good direction.
The addition of Christelle aka 'Cristal' - as well as Wade Schuman is wonderfull. A big welcome to you both - and all new members. You bring needed fresh air and perspecitve. Todd seems to be more present too (did you accept the moderator postition?) - and always brings good energy as well as expertise.
Perhaps the moderators are already having an effect? If so - thanks for your work.
What's that Godfather quote? "just when I thought I was out- they pull me back in". Not many days back I was thinking it was time for a long break.
Now you've gone ahead and pulled me back in.
Here's to renewal - and a good year in mbh land.

Yes, I agreed to help out for awhile. Hopefully things will remain positive for a very long time, and we can focus on talking about harmonica. Thanks for your kind words.

On my side, I can't wait to have some views and advices from Wade, he has a unique innovative approach of the music and of course of the diatonic.
Bonedog, same as the Ace of Harps said, thanks for your kind words. That 'll be hard to compete with Todd though, he's one of the kindest guy I've ever met, and we just been together for few hours at SPAH'09.
My goal is "just" to share a bit with all of you what I've understand of this instrument, I genuinely think now that this is all these little helps and views on our common instrument that lead it to a "modern blues" way of playing.

Everyone is being...nice! Whoda thunk it? It must be the holiday spirit. Nice to have your presence again, Christelle. As a newly-ordained moderator, along with the 'other Todd' Parrot, our Down Under comrade Blocker, and Nac-I don't think any of us can take the credit for no real hell breaking loose. Perhaps it is the holiday spririt, perhaps a little bit of shock/mourning for Chris M., dunno. But, I do like the lack of drama!

Cristal - we met briefly at spah 09 too. I'm the one who took the Ultimate Harrp Jam video. I didn't know who any of you where- but at least had the good sense to keep my harps in thier case - and the iPhone camera running.

I have newly returned in hope of more harp talk and much less drama.
I have a simple rule with all internet forums, if they put me in a bad mood I stop going there, unfortunately MBH took that turn a long time ago, but I have returned to give it another try.
