First off, much respect to Buddha and Family.

Last night I went to see a friend play at an open mic session. Well I just so happened to bring a couple of harps in case I felt froggy. For some reason I signed up but didn't know what I was going to play. I figured the only way to do it was to do it.

So I hopped up on stage, grabbed the mic, and started playing (first time on a mic and first time playing in front of people). It went well at first. Everyone was surprised to hear superstition come out of a harmonica. Then they wanted me to play more but that's all I really felt comfortable with doing solo. So couple people hopped up on stage and started playing so I'd have something to go off of and it was really fun! Then the lead guy sent it over to me for a solo! I thought "crap it's on me again" but I just threw something out and it worked out well. I had a great time even though I wasn't playing perfect. I'm definitely hooked again.

yeah!!! Moments like these are so cool! Your first time playing for an audience with a band?

...why hooked ''again''. What was the first thing that got you hooked?

Well I say hooked again because I love playing but I usually only play when I'm alone. The initial hook was the stress release of playing. So I've always been hooked but it was such a new and fun experience that it hooked me in a new way- to open up and play with people and in front of people.
