Listening to Son of Dave and Brandon was wondering what set ups are used? I had a boss pedal but have since heard the Akai is the big thing. I liked the Boss cause you can use batteries and busk with it. What other pedals or gear goes along to get your sounds? I figure I'll need a mic, loop pedal, amp? That'd be much appreciated if you can give a list of your gear. Thanks!

My current set up is an Akai Headrush looper paired with a Boss-OC-2 Octave pedal. This is the same basic setup that Son of Dave uses, except he is plugged into a Sansamp Bass Driver D.I. to the sound board.

Son of Dave currently uses a shure Beta57A microphone. At the moment, I'm using a Nady VHM7 which makes an incredible harpboxing microphone when fitted with a proper gasket.
