Hey guys i need some info.My Boss Br-600 use's a 9v adapter ,that was made by Boss for the Br-600,well it has a short in it that i cant fix,so i decided to use another 1,but it was grounded oposite of the boss adapter ,the boss is grounded internal ,on the plug end as oposed to the other adapter, but i switched ends and it works except,I get some eletric noise now.Ive decided not to use it,Is there some things i need to consider when checking on a new 9v adapter so this wont happen,I cant seem to find another boss adapter but theres alot of others on musicians friends for effects pedals, would they work?My boss adapter says, adapter for use with musical instrument,Is there a difference?I dont want to waste my money, but not sure as to what to get to replace my old adapter, thanks

Boss website says for the BR-600 Digital Recorder:
DC 9 V; Supply AC Adaptor (PSA series)/Size AA Dry battery x 6
So I would think the normal Boss PSA-120S or PSA-120T would work.
I like my 1-spot adapter than can be used with a bunch (1 to 20) effects 9v effects pedals (check the 1-spot website).
I'm sure otheres will chime in...

Just remember you can go with more amperes but not less. Say if your unit specs a 200mA 9V AC to DC supply with a negative tip you can go with a 500mA supply of the same spec but not a 100mA.

If you want to use it with multiple pedals, make sure you get the appropriate size optional cable... I must've bought the combo-pack that has the 8-plug cable with it, but they sell also sell a 5-plug cable.
That's the beauty of the 1-spot, being able to use it with multiple effects and only use one outlet plug.

I have a Boss Delay DM-2 - any special things I should be watching for - I want to get an adapter for it as well. I have the adapter for my Lone Wolf Harp Break - can I daisy chain them? ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

@jawbone The 1-Spot would work fine for both your Boss DM-2 and Harp Break... both 9v DC positive outer/negative center plug.
