Michael are you playing stock harps or did you need to set it up for playing the overdraws? You appear to do it so effortlessly. What's the trick? ----------
This particular harp I embossed all the reeds and gapped the blow and draw reeds on all the holes I wanted to overblow closer to the reed plate. Mostly I do not emboss. I also spent a lot of hours trying to get them to sound nice. In my opinion, fluidity on the high note blow bends, being able to jam in a Jimmy Reed style is a sure sign that your embouchure is ready for overblows. If you cannot jam in that style, work on them first. Michael
