A bit of update. Quick impro a bit influenced by C.C. Rider and Superstition. Comments would be appreciated.

Thanks friends!

See you around, Tony.

Sounding good Tonis, no complaints this end but obviously only as good as your webcam mic.

Why don't you turn the volume full up and open the door and give all your dormitory friends a wake up call? Only kidding.

Nuclear Physics eh? Well done and good luck with it.

Good stuff. Particularly good meter- a term, now that I think about it, doesnt occur much around here.
Sound? I'm not a big fan of that amp but I haven't heard much in the way of mods. The effects IMHO get in the way of you. -but I don't use anything and wonder if I should at least plug in a delay.
As to finding a new "sound", beware of the lure of the gear, you are the sound. If James Cotton plays over the same mic he sings (sang) through then the gear is barely a tool.

Mr Howling Wolf in the back. That CD is very good, with Eric Clapton in guitars

Santiago de Cuba in your T shirt? Have you been in Cuba or in latin america? Cool

I like the sound, but as Littoral says gear is only a minimal part of playing good. As you improve you will see how the amp will sound everytime better and better!

With some latin flavour for you, chico!! :P

I understand completely, that even the greatest biggest loudest and meanest sounding rig will not play for you.. But i had to upgrade. I had only had a solid state 15 Orange amp, that is crappy for everything, except vocals. A guitar amp, a mic, and a good clean sound off the speaker. Strange, eh? The Blues Junior is not upgrade in tone only, but in volume also. I had already couple of gigs last week, that i had to turn up volume to about 2.5 out of 12, and it was enough. I was clearly heard without the help of P.A. in the whole hall. About the effects. Well, i only use the Boss DD-3 and a bit of reverb from the amp. The reverb works astonishingly for 3rd position playing in minor keys. Other than that, it muddies up the sound. For the delay, i like it for what it does. It is made to be a thing that fills up the space with the echo. Since, in playing alot of times you are playing with space, you have to have the tool. I don't say it is unavoidably necessary, but i use it. If i'm playing straight through a mic that is plugged in to P.A. system, i ask for a bit of reverb. I like acoustic sounds with a little bit of reverb on them... :)

And for the T shirt, well.. In Lithuania now all stores around are selling very fashion-trendy stuff. So sometimes, you have to filter out those t-shirts with batman, superman logo's and a hell lot of other silly clothing, to find the least dumb one... That's what situation we have in here, and i don't particulary like it... And i would looove to visit America some day. :)

Thank you guys for your sincere replies!

See you round, Tony.

Tonis....you can get that amp to sound better. You can do a search on harp mods for blues jr. The tube swap will be the least expensive "first step"
