On Sunday at an open mic I had a reed go flat on my G Delta Frost. It is the second time I have had a reed go on this harp, the first was the 7 blow and I replaced the bushman reeds with a pair of suzuki reed plates. this time it was the 6 draw reed that went.
Is it going to work and sound OK if I use the Bushman draw plate and the suzuki blow plate on the same comb?
I assume the holes will all line up.
I guess I really should try to tune them, but I don't think I am up to that.
What do the panel think?

Shouldn't be a problem Lumpy. They are virtually identical. You'll notice the screw holes line up perfectly. ----------

more the sound I was thinking of. Do they have the same style of tuning? I don't really understand the different tunings.

They should both be ET tuning. I think they are probably the exact same reed plates. Hey, put them together give em a test drive!! Nothing to lose. ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

List them on ebay as some 'special' tuning. Hmmm, maybe 'country tuning' started that way... ----------
