Embouchure:
I "invented" this riff (triplet rhythm, fast. 'b' means blow, otherwise draw. '-' is a half-tone bend, '--' is a full-tone bend): - 3b,2b,3b,3-,3--,2, 3b,2b,3b,3-,3--,2, 3b,2b,3b,3-,3--,2, 3b,2b,3b,3-,3--,2, 2+1 chord. The difficulty is getting that 3 blow without any hint of the 4 blow creeping in!
Scales:
I try to cover 1st, 2nd, 3rd, obviously, but I've discovered that 7th position major scale is great for those draw bends on the 2, 3 and 4 holes. Start on the 2 draw bent down a half-tone. ---------- Andrew, gentleman of leisure, noodler extraordinaire.
