Here's a guy that some of you may not know about: Ben Prestage. He plays often as a one-man band, and he's really got it: the magic funky southern groove. An under-the-radar guy, but making quite a stir down there.

This is the first I've heard of him. That's some great Piedmont Blues-style fingerpicking. Thanks for posting.

I remember seeing Ben with a harp player (can't remember his name...I wan't to say like Hawkins maybe) playing as a duo at The Bamboo Room in Lake Worth Fla probably late 90's. Back then I was just blown away as to how unbelievably cool his guitar playing was.

Nicholas Barron.

He's a guy I'd like to jam with on any instrument, harp, play some slide, sing harmonies...I think he is a fabulous musician.

I would love to play with Joe Bonamassa, his release Black Rock is yearning for some tasty harp:)

Adam, I'm pretty sure it was Ben that I saw at "The Biscuit" a couple of years ago.

One of my votes: Seasick Steve

I was wondering whether or not to go myself, got asked by a friend to come along if I could get a ticket on the door.
having seen this thread I'll definitely bop along now, really great musician looking forward to seeing him live now.

perspective plays a huge role in all of this. id just like to play with a blues guitarist who really, really knew what he was doing, regardless of fame. my boys are rockers...(sigh)

One more of Chris Duarte playing an awesome version of the Star Spangled Banner...and a humourous handling of some guy who insisted on singing along loudly.
