A remember this song, Spirit in the Sky, came out in the lates 60s when I was 8 or 9. ..a guy named Norman Greenbaum. I liked it a lot then.

I had heard the name Darrell Mansfield but never took the time to check him out. Glad I finally did.

Great version of a great song. His harp sounds powerful and fits this song very well. IMHO...

I always liked Darrell, in fact, he's the first harp player that turned me onto the blues when I was just a kid. Though he's more of a basic player, his music and his voice are incredible.

yeah, Darrell is a super cool cat.
Last time I saw him, anyway, was at the R&B Sand Island, He showed me the advantages of a volume pedal. At least keeping one handy, when you have a mic with no vc. I enjoy his soulful style, and dedication to the woMAN upstairs.
btw.
Any ideas on a pedal that won't intrefere with the 'tone'?
