I enjoyed that, thanks. I don't know if you were trying to do this or not but at around 30 secs it looked as if you were attempting to do some trills and they didn't quite sound. It is possible to do this technique with two hands cupped but some players release their grip on the hand that's not holding the harp(that's the right in your case) to allow a freer rapid side to side movement with the hand holding the harp, then you use your stationary right hand palm as a buffer to bounce the harp off.You then return to your cupped hand position after you've finished the trill.
Thanks Kieron, thats the kinda input I cant get from a inst vid. I never would have thought of it, again thanks. Steve ---------- Various Musical ramblings http://www.youtube.com/user/sjeter61?feature=mhum
Yeah, it's not right out noodling but close to it...
Some more dynamics would help and a nice simple riff to start off. Then build up some intensity,... but stay close to that simple base riff. Then go cracy (wailing 4hole, etc..) on a rampage solo and back to that simple base riff.
You know... some kind of structure. The more this is emphasized the better.
