Wow some amazing insights from Jason & love this riff, such a classic!! You can tell how much Jason's enjoying it - can't wipe the smile off his face - ain't harmonica fun!!

1:45-2:35 he describes LISTENING. That really hits home with me. I can play decent but what I think is mine, where I am motivated and where I think I excel is exactly what he describes here.

Awesome for sure.

I remember hearing Canned Heat for the first time when I was a kid back in '68. "On the road again" was the most bad ass song I had ever heard... for a seven year old. I remember thinking it was the harmonica that made it so bad ass. I was right ;-)

And I have quite a collection of Canned Heat now on my Ipod. A loooong way from listening on a battery powered AM transistor radio!

The more I learn about harmonica, the more I learn how much more there is to learn.
