Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. - Charlie Parker

That was at Hill Country Harmonica. Deak has amazing tone. What you're hearing through this amp is just him, amplified cleanly. Nothing wrong with that at all. If you OVERDRIVE the amp to create harmonic distortion (which he is NOT doing here) you get a much bigger fatter sound yet. You should hear Deak play a bullet through a good harp amp!

I love Deak's sound. It's exactly the type of sound i want, it's so rich and full. Deak is also another reason i started Tongue Blocking.

Way to go Deak!!!

Absolutely killer tone DEAK! Funny that you should mention BOUTIQUE AMPS... I agree with your statement 100%... Here is a clip with me and a great player named DOUG JAY blowing harp.. DOUG happens to be playing through my boutique amp while I made do blowing straight into the PA.. Different sounds for sure but hopefully both achieve that Chicago sound!
