I'm happy to announce that Charlie Sayles will be at Hill Country Harmonica 2011. He'll be coming with his longtime guitar player Tony Fazio, who has quite a rep of his own; Tony will be backing up jammers in several breakout sessions as well.

Here are a couple of Charlie Sayles videos. He a fine and soulful harp player and an incredible showman with a certain mystique that everybody feels when they're around him. We're extremely happy to have him be a part of HCH 2011.

HCH 2011 can now boast three harp guys who forged their sound on the street: Sugar Blue, Charlie Sayles, and yrs. truly.

Great addition Adam. I saw this guy in Asheville play a fun, high energy show.

I remember seeing him play on the streets in Boston back in the 70's. Terrific player.
