I've heard this story on him before. Punks breaking into his house knowing he couldn't see and taking whatever.

on another forum an effort is already bei9ng made to help Morris:
Yes i have been in touch with Morris today personaly and he is excited about our efforts ...I told him i will make them and i also told him he will never have to buy another harp i will fix or send him a new one whenever he needs ....for life ...if he breaks one of my harps i will replace it for life ... I just got a deposit for 200. 00 in my paypal account and i have started working on the harps ... Anyone that wants to help just send it to deakharp@hughes.net ... through paypal ... go to send money use my email and it's done .. any donations will be posted on my facebook page ..... Thank you everyone fro yur help ..... Deak Harp

i personally vouch for Deak Harp. i know some of you are familiar with him also. you can go to Blindman's Blues Forum and check out the whole thread in Blues Hangout if you wish. later today i'm making a donation toward getting Morris back into some nice harps.

i hope this is appropriate to post this here. i just think if anyone wants to help why not use what's already in place?

i sent what i could. if you see your way to follow suit you can at least feel good about it. and who knows when any of us may find ourselves in need, and discover that the kindness of strangers makes all the difference?
