Please reread the forum creed. I think we can all do a little better than we've been doing.
I started this forum so that like-minded harmonica players would have a place to share information in a respectful way, not play an endless round of "gotcha." Every intentional community has its troubles, and one would hardly expect a forum devoted to blues harmonica to be some kind of utopia.
Still, this little world is not a democracy: It's a private preserve, ruled by a reluctant King. (Me.) Reluctant means that I'm reluctant to use my big stick: the power of banishment. But I will do what I feel I need to do in order to maintain some basic decency.
Please do your best to disagree respectfully, to assume the best rather than the worst, etc. Please reread the forum creed, where all the governing principles are stated with reasonable clarity. It's an imperfect document, but I'm OK with it. Most of us are. If you're not, please find another forum. There are many.
