Here's a guess...
Lafayette Leake (piano), Big Walter Horton (harp), Johnny Shines or Lee Jackson (guitar). Don't remember who was playing bass for the All Stars back then. It's either Freddy Dixon or Willie.

I've had that on LP for decades and that IS Big Walter and that's basically how he always was backing someone else with tremendous mastery of subtle. Just the way he uses double stops alone is instantly recognizable. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Big Walter was a very subtle and understated player. People that haven't heard that side of Big Walter's playing need to listen to his work as a sideman.
Most people think of him being the master of tone because of his deep rich sound, but that is only part of it. He was a master of tonal variation. Sometimes, its deep, sometimes he purposely thins it out. Listen to it.

If you want to hear some really cool playing by Big Walter, try to dig out a coopy of his album of Chess. Its not his greatest recording, but it has some beautiful harp playing. His sound during the 60's was really sweet and rich.
