All of the string parts played on the Gamble and Huff
TSOP The Sound of Philadelphia are played by Philadelphia
Orchestra members. The studios were not far from the
Academy of music. Many soul sounds across the USA used
classical players. You can check this online.

That tune is a killer. i used to gaun tae northern soul allnighters and dance for 10 at night till 10 the next morn and this was a big fave wae the dancers. i havnae heard it for ages mate. nice one.

Philly had some killer R&B acts back in the day. My band opened for Bunny Sigler about a year ago. That dude kills it too.
