Hello Greyowlphotoart.

I live in Brighton and have been playing the diatonic for eight odd years now. For the last year i have increased my practice time and made a serious effort to improve my playing.

Over the summer i have started taking music theory lessons with a Jazz piano teacher. I have bought a handful of custom harps to allow me to introduce overblows/overdraws into my playing and have started to work on a few jazz tunes for example; Autumn leaves, Little sunflower and Song for my father.

The theory lessons have really opened my eyes to why something sounds the way it does and has offered me windows into other ways of approaching music.

I would be very happy to hook up sometime and although i am in absolutely no position to teach (if i at any time sound like i am attempting to teach my advice would be to walk out of the room!) we could have a beer and talk harps.

regards

James
