Well I finaly put my awning on my Winnebago yesterday .
And now i have my own Roll Up park ,unload, set up,Roll out Awning .. Plug into my own power sorce 1000 Watt Inverter .. Got about 7 hours playing time on the Marine Battery on the bumper .. Blues Stickers all over the back of the camper ... Inside of it is full of pic's , posters , articles of blues nature, And i also Have all my tools to fix repair or build harps on hand. Except the Drill Press ,,,,I do have atleast 20 ready to go harps Drilled,Bees Waxed and Shaped , all ready to go except Embossing & Tuning ....So im going to try it out next week during the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Fest .. I might have to park somewere off Cherry St because there is no amps allowed now ...But I am now self contained unit .. I can go to any Blues Fest Park off grounds and Play after i get permition .. or a permit ... I will also be running the Big City Blues Mag Booth .. On Cherry St Near the main gate one block up from KFFA Radio Station all weekend between gigs ... Im playing Sat oct 9 @ The Blues Bayou Rest & Blues Club from 12-3 PM .. And on Sunday the 10 th i'll be playing at the Second Street Blues Party in Clarksdale MS. 5 Acts Bill Howlin-Mad-Perry , Bill Able , Selwin Cooper, King Edward, & Me at 4 pm show starts at 12 noon .. During the Cat Head Mini Fest .. Then its off to Hobsons Plantation .. For Pinetop Perkins Birthday Bash ......

Deakster, we need pictures of this Blues Mobile. And the event too.

Pinetops birthday! Will this be number 91? What a great event to be a part of. I will forever retain the story he told of being cut up on his DVD. I forget exactly how he put it but it was something like "before I got hurt I could make that bass roll like thunder on that piano".

Pinetop turned 97 in July.

Sounds like a great set-up Deak. Better have it well stocked for Hill Country next year.

That is so cool! I have this old Winnebago I started working on about a year ago--I'd love to see what you've done so I could steal your ideas--got any pics??

see ya there Deak. Jaw and Jo are playin friday and saturday someplace on cherry. also be in and out the blues bayou. may bring the bassman "just in case" Red and crew do a set at the restaurant.

I wish I had known earlier that you were parked next to me at the Bean Blossom. I would've liked to get some lessons. I had lots of beer to pay with.

Sarge Beer is out of my daily life since 2001.. Was getting in the way of my music ....if only i knew how to post a pic on here i would do it ... Im a verry simple minded man .... ill see what i can do ....
