Been travelling in Europe the last two weeks or so. Could there be a better instrument to travel with ? (stupid question)
Sat in at the 'mojo blues bar ' Copenhagen, then a few days later with a great spanish guitar player in a square in Barcelona, and with a Busker in a park Barcelona who had a 1930's era national steel he was playing slide on.
Also made good pals with an Iranian ex-pat in Cordoba spain who ran his own juice bar and had the best music playing off his computer. I recognised Gerry Mulligan and started a conversation that went on for a couple of visits.
I'll post a few iphone videos when I get home next week
