I wish I'd known about this stuff years ago, because if I bought a duff harp then it stayed that way! After viewing some youtube vids I felt confident to just make minor adjustments to badly set reeds and this made a big difference to salvaging previously condemned harps. I should add that very leaky harps are difficult to put right without doing embossing etc., which takes some expertise. However most folk should be able to do minor tweaks to the 'gapping' of reeds though I would practice on an old discarded harp (rather than on your new Suzuki Fabulous) just to get the feel of adjusting the reeds otherwise it could get expensive.
The following three videos give a very good demonstration I think of how to adjust all 10 holes to greatly improve the harps performance not only for general playability but also for obtaining easier overblows and overdraws. Though OB's and OD's are largely a matter of technique, adjustments can help.

Any other suggestions for tweaks?
ps I recently bought a harp where the hole 3 draw reed was gapped at 2mm above the reed plate and just easing this back down to the correct gap was enough to make the straight note and draw bend play really well.
